Siding Update: Back of Haven House

Wowza, haven't updated this since early July.

Welp. Here we are at the end of August. The large exterior insulation/ siding project continues.

Last I wrote on this topic we were still prepping the back of the house to be sided. I am happy to report that the back is now complete, and I have the pictures to prove it.

After finishing the back, we moved to the far side and did it all over again. Although this next side is much shorter, it was a real pain due to the slope and the painstaking exterior insulation process. We basically insulated over a cantilever to make the side appear straight. Although this made siding easier since we no longer had to account for the cantilever...it did cause us to add like 6 inches of insulative material. The Mr. also had to do a lot of metal and ladder work on this side, so it took a long time to complete.

Insulation/ OSB affixed.
