Here we are on 6/10/2022 and, after 2 days of drywall work things look much different around here. Different-good, that is...but don't take my word for it.

Update: After the drywall is affixed, the crew comes through to mud and tape. This phase took a long time for our project since we tore up the existing ceiling to insert new structural support beams - the upstairs ceilings in the existing section needed a lot of attention.
The below pictures are from June 22.




Once the mudding and taping concluded, we have the drywall textured. Unfortunately, I failed to get any pictures of that, but basically the walls and ceilings are covered in an ivory primer that contains whatever finish you select - we just went with the standard sand finish that is in the rest of the house.
